The Swayam Talks channel started in October 2012 with one idea — give the stage to people doing extraordinary work rather than to big names. Today: 1,100+ videos, 30+ series and 456K subscribers.

    The YouTube channel begins

    Swayam Talks joined YouTube on 2 October 2012.

  2. 2017

    The first talks go online

    Dnyaneshwar Bodke on sustainable farming — 1.8M views and counting. Kiran Purandare's Nagzira story comes from the same years.

  3. 2018

    Swayam Talks Pune

    The live stage begins. Speakers like Dr. Rajendra Bharud reached hundreds of thousands.

  4. 2023

    Mumbai, Pune, Sambhajinagar

    Three city editions in one year, alongside web series like Yakshaprashna and 'Ghar Kara Re Prasanna'.

  5. 2024

    Abhimanaspad Maharashtra

    A Swayam Original docu-series — Nagzira, the instrument makers of Miraj, Yeola's Paithani weavers and Sahyadri Farms.
